No longer living in the quiet countryside, we are now quite happy living in the beautiful city of Toronto.
We still offer a fabulous collection of pieces ranging from mid-century modern design to French antiques with quite a lot in between. Interior styling and decorating is also offered.

Mid Century Walnut Chest of Drawers Refurbish

As a huge fan of mid century furniture, I was happy to take on the project of refurbishing this beautiful walnut chest of drawers. The lines of the cabinet are time-honoured and deserved an overhaul. Teak seems to receive the most attention, however I believe walnut is very underrated. As I sanded away the layers of finish and scratches, it was amazing to reveal the beautiful wood grain. The chest has both simple, straight lines connected with sweeping pulls. Classic.


The pulls on this piece are so sexy.


The top now is free of scratches.
