No longer living in the quiet countryside, we are now quite happy living in the beautiful city of Toronto.
We still offer a fabulous collection of pieces ranging from mid-century modern design to French antiques with quite a lot in between. Interior styling and decorating is also offered.

New Pillows from a Thrift Store Dress

When I spotted this sweet, thrift store dress, as much as I would have liked to wear it myself, I knew it wouldn't happen. I bought it anyway with something else in mind.


I loved the peacock feather design and the price tag! It was only $5.99.


I also loved the colour and immediately pictured them as beautiful throw pillows for our house. I simply sewed them together with a simple overlap in the back. Having the elastic top actually really helped make the design that much easier. Here's how the dress looks now!
