No longer living in the quiet countryside, we are now quite happy living in the beautiful city of Toronto.
We still offer a fabulous collection of pieces ranging from mid-century modern design to French antiques with quite a lot in between. Interior styling and decorating is also offered.
Please check back frequently as I'll be updating with before and after photos as well as new acquisitions.

Cheers, Roni & Jeff

Living Room Design Before & After

This is one room of many that we restyled well under most budgets. When the home was listed for sale (privately), it sold in under one week!
The following photos are of a living room makeover that was well overdue. It was an absolute pleasure to bring this home into the year 2012 in a very updated way.

Below is the before photo, complete with collector plates on the wall, console television, crafty throw pillows, undersized carpet ... I could go on and on. Notice the doilies, brass lighting, fake plant... okay I'll stop now. I think you can see the problem with this room. The only good things it had going for it was straight walls, a large window and solid hardwood floors.

In the after photos, can you even tell it's the same space? The walls were painted a subtle shade of grey and the ceiling a light blue. The tired sheers and drapes were updated with new curtains with grommets on a stainless rod. All the furniture was changed out with a great mix of vintage modern pieces. The glass top coffee table keeps things open since the space is moderate in size.

In the following photo you get a sneak peek at the kitchen and dining space redo as well. The wall between the rooms was taken down with the exception of the space for the venting. It was decided that the extra money needed to rework it was simply not in the budget. It is amazing the difference removing most of the wall made in the light brought into this level of the house.
