It's been an extremely busy and productive past couple of weeks. Since finding out that we were the lucky ones to be the proud owners of a beautiful piece of Toronto, I have been listing, moving and selling many pieces of my collection. Our little rental is looking quite minimal and I'm liking it. I think it has a lot to do with the fact that the thoughts of our new house keep swirling in my head. The possibilities are fabulous. I thought I had pared down a lot to move to our rental, which I certainly did, however this recent clearing out has taken it to another level. We moved from a 1900 square foot house and 5600 square foot garage to our current 1100 square foot house and 200+/- square foot garage. Our new house won't be any bigger however we will have a 2-car garage. Can you guess what I'm picturing for it? Yes, I have to keep room for one of our vehicles, but wouldn't it be fabulous to have a sweet studio space too? I can picture the restyling of pieces, the reworking of lighting, the redesigning........
Thanks to this wonderful city of ours, I have had great success in selling off my great pieces. It was difficult at times to let some of them go, I just keep in mind that there will always be others. Thanks everybody!
