I have borrowed this book several times and am still showing extreme willpower not to buy it. Selina Lake and Joanna Simmons speak to my style. They describe the book to be for people who "love rummaging through markets for unusual fabrics, and can't pass an antique or secondhand store without popping in". This is so me. This book is all about creative, fearless decorating that has a fabulous mix of colours and designs. No big box store shopping here! The first section of the book is 'Elements'. They go over coming the different elements of furniture, textiles, colour, lighting, art and display. The last section focuses on 'Rooms'. The amazing photography of Debi Treloar shows off all the rooms in the home as well as outdoor spaces. Truly inspirational.
I am so going to put a chandelier together like this.
Hoping to have a mantle again some day to arrange something fun like this.
I simply adore this wonderful mix of eras.
I could see my daughter creating a space like this. I love it, just not sure how Jeff would.
