No longer living in the quiet countryside, we are now quite happy living in the beautiful city of Toronto.
We still offer a fabulous collection of pieces ranging from mid-century modern design to French antiques with quite a lot in between. Interior styling and decorating is also offered.
Please check back frequently as I'll be updating with before and after photos as well as new acquisitions.

Cheers, Roni & Jeff

New Year's Eve Celebration in Toronto

Here's Jeff's classic one handed shot of the two of us at the New Year's Eve Celebration in Nathan Phillips Square in downtown Toronto. It is our first year in this fabulous city and we wanted to be a part of the revelling. It was a massive crowd there to see many great Canadian acts.
Here's what can happen if you try to take a photograph of yourself. Random merrymakers join in and everyone has fun.
I thought I'd give it a try myself. Who keeps saying that Torontonians aren't friendly?

The stage was decked out and the music was boisterous. We arrived to hear Jully Black singing her hit 'Seven Day Fool'. The party continued with Bridgit Mendler and Kardinal Offishall. Shawn Desman performed a few of his big hits. His performances were a resounding display of his talent as a performer. I love the way he can dance as well as sing. Johnny Reid and Serena Ryder sets were aired on the big screens, uniting our country in celebrations. The Tenors brought in the New Year with the classic 'Auld Lang Syne'. They were remarkable. Unfortunately I have to say that I was not nearly as impressed with the crowd and their lack of appreciation for all the great acts we were fortunate enough to share, for free I must add. The crowd was convivial  and peaceful, I just wish it would have been a little more unrestrained. Jeff and I are strong advocates of showing our gratitude for talent. We attend music shows as often as possible and always cheer and clap. Well, last night there was some cheering, but no clapping except for Jeff and I as far as we could see. Also, we love to dance around and get into the beat. Sadly, we didn't see a lot of that either. If you think about it, it's really hard to feel anything but happy when you're dancing, so let loose and dance! Come on Toronto, be happy! On a positive note, on our way home via the TTC, while waiting to transfer to the next bus, we somehow found ourselves at a raucous little bar called 'Murphy's Law'. There was a young man belting out some great tunes while playing his acoustic guitar and the patrons here were actually singing along and showing their thanks at the end of his songs, including Jeff and I. There were lots of hoots and hollers and, thankfully, lots of clapping. Thanks to Murphy's Law for not letting us down. This puts a bit of a spin on Murphy's Law as I've always known it. Instead of 'anything that can go wrong, will go wrong', it was 'any fun that can be had, will be had'. Wahoo! Happy New Year to everyone!
